Dodgers Clinch 7th Straight NL West in Baltimore

[Box Score]

[Dodgers Nation]

Walker Buehler improved to 13-3 on the year, striking out 11 Orioles and walking no one. The Dodgers hung the 98th loss of the year on the hapless Orioles, and got on the board early with Cody Bellinger’s RBI single. From there, Corey Seager and Gavin Lux took the baton.

It’s great to see Corey Seager getting in on the act. He hit two home runs and drove in five runs. Now, he has 16 home runs on the season and has driven in 74 on the year.

While it’s not been your typical Seager season, he’s getting hot and feeling comfortable at the right time. The Dodgers are going to need him in the postseason. The Dodgers have a litany of issues right now, but they have to get their lineup hot again somehow.

As it stands, I would take Atlanta over them in the postseason in six or seven games. I have had a vision of Kenley Jansen blowing a big save in Atlanta or in that NLCS that buries the 2019 Dodgers for good.
