Justin Upton could be the next great player of this generation, and his dream has always been to play in the House that Ruth Built; but if he isn’t voted to play in the 2008 All-Star Game in the Bronx, he won’t be able to do it before Yankee Stadium is torn down.
We are going to try and sway this thing a bit, with your help of course. We’re going to see if we can get Upton an extra 10,000 votes. That’s 100 nights of 100 votes per night. Or 50 nights of 200 votes. We can do that, easily. We can do that while watching our nightly television. But we need your help! So go to the ballot, and vote for this kid.
We figure if we can get 100 fans to pour in an extra 1,000 votes each–we can do this thing. We’ll contribute 10,000 on our own as our promise. We’ll even update you on our honest and approximate count!
He’s got all the tools, let him showcase them against the best in baseball at the most famous venue in baseball history. You won’t be sorry.
