Game 163 might have been the game of the season

Ironically the game that wasn’t supposed to be played might have been the season’s best

The Colorado Rockies completed an unprobably run to the postseason last night, winning the National League Wild-Card and earning just their second trip to play with October’s best in the franchise’s history.
This game went 13 innings. The Rockies scored 6 runs off the best pitcher in baseball, Jake Peavy. San Diego went ahead with a 2 run homerun in the top of the 13th inning by Scott Hairston. Colorado then game back to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th off of possibly the best closer ever. The win was the Rockies 12th in their final 13 games.

Oh yeah, Matt Holliday had two big hits in the game and hung on to win the batting title with a .340 average.
