Obviously, I owe this post to Mike Trout. First off, when Trout said he didn’t know if he wanted to play in the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns on July 3, I about had a meltdown. I felt like Trout owed it to the sport that made him the richest player of all-time to say the right things and then follow up.
So when Trout decided to play this season – even becoming a father for the first time – and then has said a few times since that he feels safe in doing so, I felt proud to call myself a huge Trout fan once again.
I felt so surely that Trout would homer his first game after fatherhood, I could have placed a bet through pa online sports betting.
Surely enough, you know what happened. Home run number 287 was for baby Trout.

Coincidentally, it was also Jo Adell’s first game in the big leagues. A grand time was had by all. The Angels can really get rolling over the next two months and push the Houston Astros I believe. They’re an exciting team, and Mike Trout is still in his prime doing big things.
