Cody Bellinger Update: .405
Cody Bellinger had only one hit on Sunday – and this one left the yard. It was a two-run home run off Cincinnati Reds left-hander Wandy Peralta. The blast to dead center was Bellinger’s 17th of the 2019 season.
Furthermore, it’s going to be May 20th tomorrow. With the Dodgers having a scheduled off-day, Bellinger will enter play on May 21st hitting .405 on the year.
The Dodgers won their 31st ballgame of the year. Hyun-Jin Ryu probably isn’t getting enough talk, as he’s now got 31 consecutive scoreless innings in improving to 6-1 on the year.
