Dodgers: Cody Bellinger is Rolling Again

[Box Score]

The Los Angeles Dodgers got redemption on Monday night over the defending World Champions. Of course, Freddie Freeman homered in his first at-bat against his former team to get Los Angeles off and rolling.

Then, late in the game Cody Bellinger capped off a nice little night to make it a multi-hit game.

Notably this is the first time Bellinger has homered off a 95 mile per hour plus pitch in a long time. Earlier in the game, he doubled off lefty Sean Newcomb.

This was the 135th home run of Bellinger’s career. Clayton Kershaw got the win to improve to 2-0, despite not having a great line when the game ended. Craig Kimbrel locked down his third save of the year.

The Dodgers have a seven game winning streak going now since beginning the year 1-2. They have won 20 games in a row at Dodger Stadium and appear every bit the machine that they were meant to be.
