Your Saturday Baseball Post

The outdoors have that end of the summer feel to them. The daylight hits just right, and you know the kids are back in school, football is just around the corner, and you know it’s the time of the year that Mark McGwire started to go bonkers in his home run pursuit of Roger Maris in 1999. My sister even left for her sophomore year of college yesterday – very sobering in itself.

We still have a few weekends wedged in here before Labor Day, but for all intensive purposes summer is done. For the first time this week I felt the nip in the air that reminded me of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Friday Night Lights football games, and the baseball postseason.
