Welcome to the greatest day of the week for a baseball fan – celebrated every Saturday here at Diamond Hoggers.

It’s a beautiful day for baseball across the country. If you are sitting in the dim light of your living room nursing a hangover today; I urge you to talk yourself out of watching golf. Save that shit for next February. Find a ballgame, turn it on, get interested. Get yourself some Gatordade or water. Roll over with your back to your television set at about inning four. Drift off to sleep while the broadcast announcer sings you a lullaby. I’ve done it a million times. It works.

Luckily I’m not hungover today. But if I was that’s probably what I would be doing. Just a few more weeks until fall. Business is about to pick up in these parts. High drama is coming if you’re a baseball fan. It’s going to be an epic September and postseason.
