Indians 5, Angels 1

The Cleveland Indians just kept on rolling last night, taking their ass kicking party to the west coast last evening, as they beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The story last night was not the sluggers of the Indians miniature murderer’s row lineup, but their southpaw pitcher, Cliff Lee.
Lee went the full 9 innings, allowing only 3 hits and 1 earned run. This start was his second start since coming off the disabled list. I also signed him to my fantasy team, although last night’s game didn’t count for me. This start was particularly big for the Indians just because it gives them a lift that tells them C.C. Sabathia doesn’t have to be the only one to come in and pitch like an ace. They’ve gotten solid outings also from Fausto Carmona, Jeremy Sowers, and now Cliff Lee.
The offense was led by Casey Blake, who got two big hits to score runners and Victor the Villian Martinez who homered. Josh Barfield and Dave Delucci added two hits each, and Grady Sizemore stole his 11th base in 11 attempts.
