Blue Jays: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Crushes HR 46 Up in Toronto

[Box Score]

On Friday night the Toronto Blue Jays lost the game 7-3 to the Twins to go to 82-65 on the year. Hyun-Jin Ryu was not good, and the Twins took advantage of a pitcher with a suddenly ballooning earned run average.

Still, this game carried significance because Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made his mark by hitting his MLB leading 46th home run of the season.

There would be a long weekend to come for the Blue Jays, including comeback wins and answering the bell. However, we had to get this one on the blog because with about two weeks to go, Guerrero Jr. still has a shot at 50 home runs, the Triple Crown in the American League, and possibly the Most Valuable Player Award.
