Nationals: Juan Soto’s Friday Night Yankee Stadium Bomb

[Box Score]

People are craving more Juan Soto. Therefore it was the perfect opportunity for baseball to put him front and center on Friday night on MLB Network when the Washington Nationals beat the New York Yankees 11-4.

Furthermore, it was Soto’s first true ‘start’ since being activated off the disabled list. Due to pinch hitting in the first few games back, Soto got the opportunity for the full game by way of the DH spot playing in an AL Park.

Of course, he delivered.

It was his second career game at Yankee Stadium, and his third career homer in the Bronx. It seems like guys like Soto shine brightest on the bright stage, so it’s no surprise he likes hitting at Yankee Stadium.

Most positive of all, Soto played right field on Saturday, giving a signal that we can expect him to be just fine in terms of throwing the ball. Obviously from the video above, he can still hit.
