Brewers: Christian Yelich Hits Game-Winning Home Run At Wrigley Field

[Box Score]

The Milwaukee Brewers of 2020 have a keen ability to look like they’re left for dead for most of the game, hopeless, and then crawl out of the grave.

On Friday night at Wrigley Field, that’s exactly what they did to snap the Chicago Cubs’ winning streak.

Specifically Christian Yelich, who hit a monster three-run home run to take the Brewers from a 3-1 deficit and win them the game.

Josh Hader came in to get the final four outs. It wasn’t done easily. In fact, nothing the Brewers do is easy. For this is the way of the 2020 Brewers and their band of rogues.

In all they figure to be a .500 team that kind of is an unexpected pain in the ass here and there. Even while slumping, Yelich is still worth tuning into every at-bat for in case he extends his long levers on one.
