Collect: Mike Trout 2014 Red Hot Foil, 2015 Topps Heritage Foil

Since I love the game of baseball, I needed a definitive Mike Trout card or two for my collection. I splurged on the 2015 Heritage Chrome-Foil Trout above in a PSA 10 because I think it’s a card that will always at least hold it’s value. This is not a player who is going to lose what he’s already done; and this should be his third MVP award. He’s the gold standard. For me, if I never have another Trout card in a PSA 10, this was the one I had to have.

The other Trout I might have lucked out on is probably a PSA 8 or PSA 9 if I am lucky, but it’s the 2014 Topps Red Hot Foil Mike Trout card. I’ll send this in for submission, but I got it for just $22 on an offer off eBay. I really love this card, and it’s extremely popular. Hoping for the best when I submit it, it’s been on my watchlist for a long time.

All-in-all, I haven’t watched enough Trout through the years. Starting next season, I am going to make sure that I do spend some time watching Trout and finally somehow see the guy play in person just one time. For a fan like me, you have to do these things for the greatest player possibly of my lifetime.
