Last night in Los Angeles, Gavin Lux made his big league debut. Furthermore, Cody Bellinger walked three times and clubbed his 44th home run of the 2019 season off left-handed reliever Jake McGee.
Lux singled on the first pitch he saw. Then, he doubled to the right-center gap in his second at-bat. He accomplished a little history on the night, scoring three runs.
Gavin Lux is the first @Dodgers player in the live-ball era to score 3+ runs in his MLB debut.#LABleedsBlue

The Dodgers had two home runs from Chris Taylor and Joc Pederson. Corey Seager hit a three run bomb. On a night when Walker Buehler didn’t have his best stuff, he got a bunch of run support from his offense to get the win. The Dodgers are now 40 games above the .500 mark and absolutely lapping the competition in the National League.
