Yasiel Puig and Franmil Reyes Debut in Cleveland

It’s weird seeing Yasiel Puig and Franmil Reyes in a new place seemingly overnight; but they’re in Cleveland now.

Moreover, both guys collected hits in their debut in Cleveland on Thursday night. While the Tribe lost the game 7-1 to the Astros – it was good to see these guys assembled at exactly the same time.

Equally important, these two players are exactly the type of thing I have been telling friends the Indians need all year. A couple thumpers in the outfield should really make Cleveland an interesting team as they attempt to run down Minnesota in the AL Central, then dealing with the heavyweights in October.

Finally, it keeps my buddies who are Indians fans a little bit more invested; rather than jumping ship to Cleveland Browns news. Being a huge baseball fan, I am all for that across the sport. And it’s hard not to absolutely love Yasiel Puig no matter where he’s playing.
