Greinke Shuts Down Jays in Toronto

[Box Score]

Fortunately, I didn’t get to watch this one. I have been making it a habit to watch Toronto since Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been called up but I was out and about on Saturday afternoon for the most part.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. had two Saturday knocks on a day where his team was shutout.

However – this game was a perfect example of how flat the Blue Jays are under Charlie Montoyo. Indeed, a perfect example of this post right here.

The Blue Jays don’t compete under Charlie Montoyo and need to fire this fucker. Anyhoo, they were shutout by Zach Greinke on what looked like a splendid day in Toronto.

Guerrero Jr. was the only guy on his team with multiple hits. And definitely, Toronto is short on talent. For as neat as the whole Cavan Biggio thing, he’s not much of a player it doesn’t appear.

There’s a video of MLB Network breaking down Vladito’s big swing against the Yankees (I ordered a Topps Now from this moment). I had to get it on the site because it was a neat segment I saw live.
