Ronald Acuña Jr. is Balling

Ronald Acuña Jr. has continued to weather his way through a tough mini-slump. In his sophomore campaign, he’s back to .280 on the year.

On Saturday night, Acuña hit a dramatic game-winning home run in Arizona that gave the Braves the 2-1 victory. The bomb was his 8th of the season, so he’s coming right along with an OPS hovering around .900 for the year.

He would get a couple more knocks on Saturday night in the Braves 6-4 victory. This got them to 20-20 on the season, so they’re playing .500 ball for Brian Snitker with Max Fried going on Sunday.

All of this comes on the heels of an impressive backside homer he dropped off the legend, Clayton Kershaw.

This guy is really an incredible ballplayer. I feel like he’s only scratching the surface and I will be writing these for a long time about the guy.
