In the Flushing neighborhood of Queens on Sunday, the Dodgers and Mets hooked up in a good ol’ good one. Kikè Hernandez and Cody Bellinger homered twice, Max Muncy, Joc Pederson, Justin Turner all homered once. The Dodgers squandered leads of 3-2 and 7-4 to win 8-7 on a Turner bomb in the top of the 11th inning.

The Dodgers have homered 45 times in June. They have an excellent shot to break their own team record in a month set a year ago. They’re 15-5 in the month, best in all of baseball. They’ll return to Chavez Ravine tomorrow night to kick off a homestand and a three game series with the Chicago Cubs.

Here’s home runs 14 and 15 for Cody Bellinger. To think that anyone counted this guy out.

Home Run #1

Home Run #2

The Dodgers are playing incredible baseball right now. The sky is the limit. Who knows what this team could accomplish. This is definitely the high point right here, right now. Sitting at 41-35 and headed home for a week of baseball. Times are good.
