I’m not the biggest fan of Jimmy Kimmel, but he got me to tune in tonight. On the Dodgers’ off-day upon their return to Los Angeles, Cody Bellinger appeared on Kimmel Live and talked a little bit about Yasiel Puig, his father, his superstitions, and generally came off as a likable dude.

Bellinger announced on snapchat that he would be going on the show tonight.
Cody Bellinger moves the needle. He hasn’t had a hot streak yet, but he’s holding his own as the focal part of the offense. It would be nice to see a big week out of the kid, something like three home runs and a bunch of hits to keep his average around the .300 mark.
Perhaps the comfort of Chavez Ravine will breed some success for the Dodgers’ young superstar. I feel like a power surge is coming, he’s right on the cusp.
