Rhys Hoskins’ Blast Lifts Phillies Past Nationals

Rhys Hoskins got the Philadelphia Phillies on the board on Saturday afternoon with a two-run blast to centerfield. It was “The Rhyno’s” fifth home run of 2018, and I expect the guy to have an absolutely huge 2018 still.

I fully expect this guy to end up with about 35 homers, 110 RBI, and an average right around .300 with a .400 on-base. He reminds me of a right-handed, more aggressive Joey Votto. He’s basically going to morph into an absolute monster in the City of Brotherly Love.

The Phillies are an upstart bunch. It’s cool that they’re hanging around, now sitting at 18-14 on the season in baseball’s best division. They go for the series win in Washington on Sunday. Jake Arrieta opposing Max Scherzer will be one of the prime match-ups that wrap up the weekend.
