No Hitter! Dodgers Buehler & Others Combine For First Team No-No In Franchise History!

The Dodgers kept things rolling last night at Estadio de Beisbol in Monterey, Mexico. Walker Buehler is the real deal. Six innings, eight strikeouts, his ERA is down to 1.13 in three starts. He is showing everyone that if the Kershaw era is coming to a close, he’s the next one.

He really reminds me of Max Scherzer. Just so great to watch this kid pitch. The Dodgers got home runs from Chris Taylor and Kike Hernandez early on to build a solid lead; and it just continued from there. Yimi Garcia looked excellent in the eighth inning, and could become a key cog down the stretch for the Dodgers if he continues to progress and receive higher-leverage opportunities.

The Dodgers are at 15-17 and just have to keep things rolling. They’re 3-0 since Dave Roberts said “today is the day it turns” when they went out and got a 2-1 win over Arizona at Chase Field that was all on the bullpen to deliver.
