Giancarlo Stanton, Jose Altuve are your baseball MVP’s

Finally, Giancarlo Stanton has a Most Valuable Player Award in tow after one escaped him to Clayton Kershaw the year Mike Fiers hit Stanton in the face with a pitch. Joey Votto came damn close to winning this award, which would have been his second.

Jose Altuve took the award down in the American League. Aaron Judge, Jose Ramirez, Mike Trout, and Francisco Lindor rounded out the top five.

It’s always neat to see who got votes, and look at the actual breakdown of each ballot. Hell, Tommy Pham got 24 overall total voting points.
