Friday: Eutopia Playoff Baseball

Man, what a day. The only day we will have with FOUR MLB playoff games.

As I am waiting to watch the grandaddy of them all out in Chavez Ravine with the Dodgers facing the Diamondbacks, I’m watching the fifth hour of the Yankees and Indians game which has been an all-timer.

Carlos Correa kicked off the day with a big home run in Houston:

And the Astros rolled to a 8-2 victory to go up two games to nothing over the Boston Red Sox.

With the Indians masterpiece going on; I’ve missed all of the Cubs and Nationals in Washington which started almost three hours later. The Cubbies look like they’ll hold on to a 3-0 win after Stephen Strasburg had no-hit shit for five and 2/3 innings.

And then in the Indians game – with the Yankees up 8-3 – Francisco Lindor hit a grand slam (listen to Matt Vasgersian SCREAM!), and Jay Bruce tied the game with a solo shot an inning later.

What a day…. a day that should be enjoyed. Marveled at. Treasured. And holy shit this has been good baseball.
