Aaron Judge rips monster home run in Queens for number 37

[Box Score]

Aaron Judge has been struggling. Tonight he set a record you don’t want to set – striking out for the 33rd consecutive game.

But Judge gets page views. Judge sells merchandise. Judge makes highlight reels. Judge hits home runs into the third deck at Citi Field, like he did tonight. This one was a big one.

It was measured at 457 feet. It looked every bit of that. The thing is, you know he’s going to hit one someday that kills off the dinosaurs. Something that’s never been hit before in a spot to a park that should never be reached is going to leave his bat.

He hit his 36th the other night in the Bronx too with our buddy TJ in the house. It will forever be the missing link on this blog because we were too lazy to get a post up about it.

The Yankees got it done again tonight. If they can manage to squeeze out a playoff appearance; and Judge can finish strong the final six or so weeks; he’s going to garner MVP votes. We love the way he’s battling through tough times.
