Your Saturday Baseball Post

Welcome to 4th of July weekend Saturday. No one should be in a bad mood, because with the way the holiday falls you’ve got a good chunk of time to relax.

Everyone is in play today. Your fantasy lineup needs set whether you’re in it, out of it, or in fantasy purgatory. You’ve still got time to make a run but it’s time to consider selling off if you don’t think you have the heavy artillery to make a run.

Baseball set the all-time home run record for home runs hit in a month last night. It’s been a fun, standard-bearing year in 2017. Now Rob Manfred will do something to grossly overcorrect this and hurt the game.

This week’s 1980’s song of the week that should be played on a ballpark loudspeaker nearest you is from 1983, The Naked Eyes.

Today’s slate features the Yankees in Houston, the Dodgers in San Diego, and two different pairs of teams playing double headers. It should be a great day in baseball.

Thank you for your continued support of Diamond Hoggers. Enjoy your Saturday and be blessed.
