Cody Bellinger looks really, really Good

And by good, we mean potentially great. Potentially, all-world.

Bellinger already has a better swing and is a better player than any other Dodgers outfielder. They’re talking about sending him down; but they cannot possibly send the kid down. Last night he hit his third and fourth home runs in San Diego, and he’s now hitting .349 with nine RBI after driving in four at Petco Park. He also looks like Woody from Toy Story, but we digress.

The Dodgers got a good enough outing from Kenta Maeda, and won the game 8-2. They’re now 16-14 on the year, which is ugly-ish, like many of their wins. Their wins are of the sloppy variety. But one cannot argue with the fact that they have a really nice core of Corey Seager, Julio Urias, Cody Bellinger, and all those other guys who aren’t as good or have as high of a ceiling as those three. I would put those three up against any young three under 25 in any other organization right now though.

And Kershaw goes tonight. Fun.
