Dodgers have a Perfect Chavez Ravine Opening Day, Pound Padres 14-3

[Box Score]

After all the worry, it boiled down to Corey Seager doing what Corey Seager always does. He played on Opening Day, he got two knocks. One of them was a two-run home run to left-center that broke the game open.

Clayton Kershaw was pretty brilliant. He threw seven innings, allowed just two hits and one earned run and struck out eight. Yasmani Grandal homered from both sides of the plate. Joc Pederson added a grand slam and had five RBI.

Other than no Vin Scully, it was a picture perfect day in Los Angeles that ended with them winning (big) and playing ‘I Love L.A.’ just as they should.

The Dodgers are 1-0, the Dodgers are impressive, their stars are healthy, and they will be a force to be dealt with in 2017.
