Your Saturday Baseball Post

Happy Saturday to all – we sit just 79 days from Opening Day 2017.

This weekend we have the football playoffs to distract us. A winter ice storm that may render us powerless in a few hours, so we better get this post up while we can.

So this is surprisingly an 80’s song that should be played on a ballpark speaker near you. I didn’t know it was an 80’s song but sure enough, it hails from early in the decade in 1981 from Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. This is one of my all-time favorites. It makes me think of Mrs. Diamond Hoggers.
