Your Saturday Baseball Post

It’s Saturday, the best day of the week and a Saturday in the summer when every Major League team is in play qualifies as one of the best days on earth. We always put the flag at half mass and salute here during this time of the week.

So while focus in the sports world might be turned towards the NFL kicking off it’s season with the Hall of Fame in Canton, definitely take the time to stop and appreciate the unique talents of the players on the diamond.

Today’s slate is interesting, one game at Yankee Stadium at 1:00; a couple games sprinkled in at 4:00, and then the rest tonight. It’s kind of a nice slate to enjoy if you aren’t up to anything.
