In Honor of MLB Draft Day

I remember that day in 2005 when the Cincinnati Reds selected Jay Bruce in the first round of the MLB Draft. Driving home from downtown that day, they were going over the scouting report of Bruce on 700 WLW. I had no idea of all the good times that would come in the future, but I remember thinking that the guy sounds like a hell of a player.

There’s been a lot of ups and downs in the past eight years, but Jay Bruce has largely lived up to his promise in becoming one of the finest players out of that draft.
