Bryce Harper wants to be known as a “throwback”. The video above could be categorized as throwback.

Making like an old-time baseball star from your pappy’s youth, Harper stopped by a Washington, D.C. softball game yesterday to take a few cuts. If you look not all that closely, you’ll see the Washington Monument in the background.

And someday, many years from now when robots are playing this game; old men will tell of the days when Bryce Harper stopped by and crashed their softball game in Washington as a 19-year old rookie.

He’s like Moonlight Graham with a Mohawk.
