Reds drop final Friday night contest
Seemed like the Reds just couldn’t muster much last night; and with two games to go on the season, the Pittsburgh Pirates have now hung a two game losing streak on Cincinnati.
The Reds mustered only one run all night; an absolute bomb by Wladimir Balentien to the upper deck in left field. Jay Bruce had a nice game. He walked, threw out his 11th runner of the season from right field and doubled off the left field wall in the 9th off Matt Capps to bring the tying runner to the plate.
Just two more games. Can’t believe another baseball season has really came and gone.
