Raul Ibanez to 15 day DL with groin strain

Raul Ibanez has been placed on the 15 day Disabled List with a strained groin. And have you ever noticed how steroid accusations can make the smallest injuries come to light for a player? Kind of weird isn’t it? We’re just saying.

Guy is having the season of his life, Phillies find themselves in a dogfight in the NL East; you’d figure that he’d have to have a limb cut off before he’d sit out some games. It isn’t so. This is interesting. Or he could have just coincidentally pulled the damn groin. Who knows. We’ll never get the true story.
