First Trip to Yankee Stadium

It was 2002, a hot August 7th night and we were lucky enough to see the Rocket Roger Clemens mow down the Kansas City Royals. I remember it like it was yesterday. Upper deck at Yankee Stadium. I couldn’t believe all the ethnic looking people I saw entering the game in the Bronx that night. It was a long ways away from the country I’d grown up playing sandlot baseball in, using gloves of the team at bat as bases.
