Baseball’s ugliest mug has signed a 2-year, $10 million dollar deal to avoid arbitration and remain with the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies. This comes on the heels of Werth being a key cog in the World Series wheel last year. Werth at times actually appeared to be somewhat dynamic. And I’ll tell you right now, this guy is going right back in the tank this season where he came from. Go ahead, draft him in your fantasy leagues and expect a bargain. Philly fans, you’re all stupid enough to believe that Werth is a decent everyday ballplayer. We’ll be here waiting to say I told you so when two years have came and gone and Werth is back to his moonlighting as a roleplayer.

He’ll always have his moment in the sun. And no one can take it away from him.
