It's a big day for 'Lights Out'

Today is a big day for Francisco ‘Lights Out’ Liriano, as he comes off the disabled list to make his first start of the season. Liriano will pitch against the Kansas City Royals today, and perhaps we’ll all see why the Twins were willing to give up Santana. Before this guy got hurt, I assure you that he was better in terms of stuff and upside.

Remember, in 2006 this guy was 12-3 with a 2.16 ERA and he struck out 144 in 121 innings. I don’t expect him to hit his stride until midseason, but I do think we’ll see the rise of Liriano happen again.
