Bullpen wastes blasts by Hamilton & Dunn

It’s becoming a theme all too common for the Cincinnati Reds, who are God awful. They get a couple runs, all via the homerun by Adam Dunn, Ken Griffey Jr., Brandon Phillips, Josh Hamilton, or another source, take a lead into the 6th, 7th, or 8th inning and the bullpen surrenders the lead to the opposition.

Yesterday afternoon was no different, as the Reds held a 3-2 lead after homeruns off Dan Haren by Josh Hamilton and Adam Dunn. This time the culprit was Marcus Macbeth, former Oakland Athletic pitcher, and future presumed closer IMO of the Reds.

I’m not here to talk about the Reds losing anymore. The highlight was the fact that Hamilton hit his 10th career big fly off of one of the better pitchers in the game right now.
