Padres: Fernando Tatis Jr. Hits Two More Dodger Stadium Home Runs

[Box Score]

Once again, Fernando Tatis Jr. went out and proved he was the most impressive talents in all of baseball. Obviously we mean not only now but in a number of years.

Indeed, Tatis Jr. went deep twice off Trevor Bauer, meaning he is the first player ever to homer on back-to-back days multiple times off a Cy Young Award winner. Remember, on Friday night it was two home runs he hit off Clayton Kershaw in what seemed like one of the best performances of unlikely occurrences in a long time.

Here are the blasts:

In particular, I felt like that second home run off Bauer really was the most impressive of the weekend for Tatis Jr. in which by the way, he’s only the second visiting player at Dodger Stadium aside from Barry Bonds to hit four homers in two days at Chavez Ravine now.

These home runs accounted for his 5th and 6th of the season now. Unfortunately for the Padres, a reliever named Pierce Johnson fell apart and allowed three earned runs after Blake Snell exited his start. This allowed Trevor Bauer to improve to 3-0 on the young season.
