Blue Jays Ride Young Guns for Series Victory Over Yankees

[Box Score]

Indeed, the young Toronto Blue Jays are scrappy on a daily basis. On Wednesday, they took another series from the New York Yankees on the strength of two Bo Bichette home runs including a walk-off in the bottom of the ninth.

While the yankees got a multi-homer game from Aaron Judge, Bichette was able to match him. And Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continued his strong start by collecting two more hits and raising his average to .391 on the year.

Catcher Alejandro Kirk homered to get the Blue Jays on the board. Now they travel to Kansas City to see if they can continue their upstart beginning against the Royals.

Ross Stripling was scratched from this start, so Toronto appointed T.J. Zeuch the starter. Once again he gave them enough to get through the not-so-mighty New York Yankees.
