Twins: Byron Buxton Hits 5th Home Run

[Box Score]

Another day, and on Sunday Byron Buxton spent the day crushing baseballs all around the ballpark in Minneapolis. Indeed, Buxton would hit his 5th home run of the young season to lead all of baseball.

However, Buxton also drove in four runs on the day, adding a single and double. Lately, if a pitcher throws it in the strike zone, he’s hitting the ball harder than anyone in the game.

Alex Colome blew another lead that could have made the Twins the talk of the day in the game, letting the underdog Mariners slip by in an 8-6 contest. Still, it’s becoming hard to ignore what Buxton is doing on a daily basis.

Without question, if he can stay healthy, the Twins probably have an MVP candidate on their hands.

Do not touch that dial if Buxton is at the plate, he could hit one 450 feet or shoot the gap and leg it out for a triple. One of the most exciting athletes in all of sports today.
