It seems like everyone tries to find the next Byron Buxton when they don’t realize he’s just health away from being a true superstar in his prime for the Minnesota Twins.
Sure, the Twins blew a lead in Milwaukee on Opening Day. However, Buxton collected the valuable ‘combo meal’ in stealing a bag and hitting the longest home run of his career (465 feet).

Remember, Buxton sees the ball really well in Milwaukee. For instance, he had a career day there last summer. Personally, we feel the Twins are in for a little bit of a down year in which they teeter around the .500 mark.
Still one of the gut feelings we have is that Buxton finally has that 20-40 year in which he’s able to stay healthy and play in around 150 games with elite defense in center.
