Twins: Byron Buxton Continues Surge With Career Night in Milwaukee

[Box Score]

Byron Buxton of the Minnesota Twins cares little about your preconceived notions of him. In fact, if he did he wouldn’t be putting forth the performance he is thus far in the 2020 season.

Undoubtedly, the guy looks the part of two-way superstar and it’s finally happening for him in Minnesota.

The Twins trounced the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Wednesday night. Buxton hit home runs 4 and 5 and did it in consecutive innings.

In all, Buxton collected three hits. Any friends that gave you shit about believing in Buxton all the way – if you kept the faith – should be checking in with some crow-eating, humbling texts right about now. The guy can flat out play when healthy, and he’s a viable centerpiece on one of the best teams in the American league at the moment.
