Your Saturday Baseball Post

It’s 2020. So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past. It’s a quiet baseball Saturday obviously, and the first of the decade. People are focused on NFL football. But we are kicking winter’s ass, and it won’t be long until baseball is center stage once again.

I stole this song out of the movie Uncut Gems, which was one of the better flicks I have seen in a long time. It’s by Gigi D’Agostino, and it’s called L’Amour Toujours. Enjoy it. Undeniably it should be played on a ballpark loudspeaker near you sometime soon.

Now, go and enjoy your Saturday and make the most of it. You only get so many Saturday’s. It’s the best of day of the week, and baseball is the best sport on earth. Soon enough we will have a scoreboard full of games to get lost in and a yard to maintain.
