MLB The Show 20: Javier Baez Cover

I’m not thrilled with Javier Baez gracing the cover of MLB the Show 20, but it is what it is. I truly struggled with the 2019 version of the game. It never felt right – hitting felt broken – and it was an effort to get through games let alone series.

For a dad of two like me, I’ve decided MLB the Show 20 is my last go around with baseball gaming if it’s not good.

I’ve been playing this game since 2010, and in the beginning days it was awesome. Lately, it’s been a case of every other year it’s unplayable.

As more trailers come out this winter and in to the spring, we will be sure to document all of it. However, if I am San Diego Studios I am definitely going with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ronald Acuña Jr. or Cody Bellinger; or even Mike Trout for the new cover. Where is Pete Alonso? The Cubbies are stale!
