Vladdy Jr. Hits 14th, Rounds Third With Sauce In Toronto Win

[Box Score]

[Toronto Star]

Vladito picked one off the shoe tops for his 14th home run of the season. I have noticed this is a ball he likes to hit, very naturally. This reminds me of his daddy. This was the Zach Britton home run he hit in redux.

Guerrero had two hits in this game and kept it rolling. Jacob Waguespack improved to 4-1, and somehow this guy is not completely terrible.

Oddly, the Mariners started Matt Wisler in this game who had a nice first inning 1-2-3 with two strikeouts. Then, they turned to Wade Leblanc for the remainder of the game – and he got knocked around by a Toronto lineup that is proving they can hit a little bit after all.

Finally, Bo Bichette was the only Toronto hitter without a base hit. Also, he didn’t walk. So his on-base streak ends tonight at 17. Danny Jansen hit his 12th (he’s going to be a nice little offensive catcher) and Randall Grichuk hit his 23rd of the year. It always seems like Cavan Biggio is hitting .212 no matter what he does.
