Dodgers Get Tony Gonsolin First Win, Bellinger Hits 37th
The Los Angeles Dodgers are not 75-40 on the year. Tony Gonsolin went six shutout innings to get the first win of his career. Cody Bellinger hit a monstrous 3-run home run to give them a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. On a night when Christian Yelich hit 38 and 39, Bellinger did what he could to keep pace. The problem is, Bellinger only drew a walk otherwise.
Gonsolin truly opens all kinds of doors for Los Angeles if he’s anything close to this.
