Blue Jays Defeat Rays 2-0 In Tampa

[Box Score]

The Blue Jays won their first game in Tampa all year by a 2-0 score with Jacob Waguespack throwing six shutout innings, and Derek Law finishing things off for the save.

Of course, the whole damn show was again the rookie Bo Bichette. Bichette scored both Toronto runs that held up, including his third career home run off Charlie Morton.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kept things going in his own right with a single in the ninth inning to keep his on-base streak alive and well at 17 games. Earlier in the day on Monday, Guerrero Jr. won AL Player of the Week honors.
