Twins: Byron Buxton Hits A Rare Home Run

Byron Buxton is getting it going since coming off the IL with three multiple hit games and now a big home run off Zach Gallen that put the Twins on the board in Miami

Here is the 10th home run of the season for Buxton, which has been a slow crawl to that number despite slugging .511 at the current time. It was a significant home run for the Twins.

The Twins won their 65th game of the season by a 2-1 score, and Jake Odorizzi went to 12-5 on the year. Minnesota had just four hits in this game: Buxton, Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario, and Miguel Sano who had the game-winning RBI double that held up just an inning later.

Credit Minnesota for standing in their power and winning one they had to. The Cleveland Indians are going to give them all they can handle down the stretch for the AL Central crown.
