Ronald Acuña Jr. is showing no signs of slowing down in his sophomore season. He hit his 25th home run of the season on Saturday night in Philadelphia. He’s also stolen 25 bags, and he’s hitting .295 on the year. His on base average is up to .381, so he’s doing the job out of the leadoff spot for an Atlanta team that is quickly gaining on the Los Angeles Dodgers as a dark horse World Series contender.
In the losing effort, the Phillies wore some of the coolest throwbacks I’ve seen yet. Tell me these aren’t awesome in a one-off.
