Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum

I checked out the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum yesterday. It was cool because my 2 and 4 year old actually got a little something out of it.

Had to pay tribute to one of my all-timers, the Big Donkey. I still remember that 535-foot bomb off Jose Lima. It was the kind of thing that ends up on a plaque someday.

I never thought when I first entered the museum so many years ago (it has been remodeled since), that I would be bringing my little boy. In a way it was kind of special to me.

Thank goodness not many people were in the museum. My son threw an absolute fit when he was done calling the action and I had to drag him away from the sports desk exhibit.

Harper and Brody ready to see some ‘boo-jaw’ as Brody calls it. Great memory.
